Tony’s Corner: Missing home

Hi from Tony’s Corner. It’s the end of September, and I still haven’t gone home to Anaconda. There are things going on in Anaconda like the Octoberfest with a lot of German food and a big ramp to floors. We could get there at 11:30 a.m. and get to see the kids doing artwork, just like Art in the Park. Sometimes they have them for the holidays. But my health hasn’t been good though. If it doesn’t get better, I won’t be able to go. I have to do what Kadie  and the rest of my family says. I hope I am well enough to go to church and maybe Burger King afterward. I could maybe have a big breakfast and a good drink. Again, I have to be in good health to go. So, I did not go to church and Day Service all week. I didn’t make it to the birthday party at the Haufbrau in Anaconda either. We did have pizza at the house though with Canadian bacon and pineapple. It was good to eat with my new family.  I think in the back of my mind, I would like to see what happened to the old Safeway in Anaconda. Maybe see if any of the old workers are still  there. Of course, I could see what movie is playing at the Washoe Theater. Maybe, I could meet up with the person who is running the place and go there to see any of my friends. I would also like to go to see the place I used to live at and see my friends there too. Maybe I could even try to see Mom. You know, if I don’t do anything, there is always the chance that I can go to the place where I can see the people who got me started writing again. I am glad I am doing it. Maybe in October, I can go to a play, even if it costs $40 to sit in the above seats. I hope Kelly can drive me in there. Oh boy! Well see you next time with surprises at Tony’s Corner.
